Red Sailboat

There were several men racing remote controlled sailboats on one of the lakes here in Pleasantville. It was so captivating and my girls loved it!

This is the first of four in a short series. I have several pictures of these sailboats, but this series will only highlight one boat at a time. I presented a photo of the boats racing together in the Sweetsauer Photohunt Challenge as my entry for Air/Wind - to see it, click here.

Since it is Ruby Tuesday, I decided to present the red sailboat first. The others are: Please stop by again!

Love it! The colors really compliment your already black framing style.

We used to have a pond where they did remote control boat racing when I was little. Your posts brought back many memories.

That's a pretty red sailboat. Framed it doesn't show the setting as a model boat. It could just have well been a painting.
Happy RT,

Great capture. We get the toy boats on the lake here as well.

But, they are not usually sailboats. We spent a very nice time one evening watch races between tug boats and military type boats as they crossed the lake at the local park.

What a wonderful red and white sailboat photo ... niftily framed too. Easy to mistake it for 'the real thing' ... Thanks for dropping by mine at Happily Retired Gal. I'm glad you enjoyed Molly in color and monochrome ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Great toy! I thought it is real boat at first. I bet you had fun at the race - those are spectacular events!

the framing is perfect

the boat is very authentic looking for a toy but then again the men who play would say they're not toys :)
