Razzle Dazzle

I have Raspberry Razzle Dazzle Crape Myrtles in my front landscaping and they have just burst into flower. This is just one stem. Eventually, the entire bush is covered in these flowers.

There is information on this plant at my gardening blog. If you would like to see these flowers in your yard, read up on the plant and see if it's right for you.

Au contraire, mon frère!

Pleasantville is in zone 5b (translation - we get hard frost in late October, snow that usually melts within a couple of days of falling, and spring bulbs can be planted in early April).

These grow fabulously! The Razzle Dazzle is a dwarf hybrid officially rated up to zone six, but we're kind of on the edge.

You can also try over winterizing in a garage - think big pot on one of the wheelie dealios.
