It is a very sentimental piece as it was my grandmother's. My mom claimed it from the estate after my grandparents past away. When she was moving out of state, she had it sitting on the dining room table to pack. I kept picking it up and putting it by my purse, then my mom would take it back to the table. She ended up giving it to me for Christmas that year. As if you didn't love my mom enough . . .
There are many times I view things as though I were looking though the lens of my camera. Now, I'm ready to share with you my views of the world around us.
I've said for years that if I could "do it all over again", I would have choosen photography as my career path. By the time I discovered my passion, I already had a college education that led to a good paying job. Giving that up to become a struggling artist is not appealing. Besides, I like what I currently do.
But I still wonder, what if I had chosen a different path?
I actively seek comments & critiques/suggestions. If you've got compliments, I'll take those too :)

I love the way the light plays with the color on this dish. It almost looks like carnival glass, is it?
It is indeed carnival glass.
