I have tried this and could not get the moth, in my case, to be still. Or, maybe . . .

We have this wonderful "Butterfly House". It's a huge terrarium/greenhouse like building filled with butterflies. You get a little "map" to check off all the butterflies you can identifiy. There are at least 50 different species.
They are used to people being around all day long and occassionally land on you. Anyway, with that many butterflies, it didn't take much to get one sitting still. I use an ordinary point and shoot digital camera for my pics, but the zoom on it is amazing.
Still, I'd like to someday get a nicer SLR so I can get the resolution necessary to make poster size prints. I'm currently limited to a 12X17 print with the highest resolution.
Glad you like the pics. I did check out your pictures as well. Very nice. You're fortunate to have such beautiful surroundings.
